Mojave National Preserve posted the following wildflower bloom report on April 11, 2011

Kelbaker Road – north of Kelso
beavertail cactus (Opuntia basilaris)
bladderpod
 (Isomeris arborea)
brittlebush (Encelia farinosa)
chia (Salvia columbariae)
desert dandelion
 (Malacothrix glabrata)
desert mallow (Sphaeralcea ambigua)
Fremont pincushion (Chaenactis fremontii)
rayless encelia (Encelia frutescens)
Wallace’s woolly daisy (Eriophyllum wallacei)

Kelbaker Road – south of Kelso
bladderpod (Isomeris arborea)
prickly poppy (Argemone corymbosa)

Hole-in-the-Wall
desert paintbrush (Castilleja angustifolia)
Mojave mound cactus (Echinocereus triglochidiatus)
red-stemmed filaree (Erodium cicutarium)
