What Computer Engineers can Learn from Ants?

Ants offer possible clues to computer network development

An article in Nature News discussed how studying ants problem solving methods may give useful clues for computer engineers to develop more effective networks.  Researchers are studying how ants navigate mazes and deal with blocked pathways to see if they can if some of the strategies might be useful for network development.  Read Ants lead way to speedier computer networks : Nature News.
