Today at breakfast we watched a Townsend’s Warbler as he flew around our backyard for at least 15 minutes entertaining us. They are probably the most colorful birds we have seen in our north Berkeley neighborhood and certainly one of my favorites. It was the first spotting this season. I was unable to get a photo but here is one from Flickr.
