Get up early Wednesday and Thursday to see the see the Leonid meteor shower.  It is predicted to peak just before dawn.  The Leonids occur every November as the Earth does through the cloud of debris behind the comet Temple-Tuttle.  It is the e debris sparking as it hits the Earth’s atmosphere that causes the meteor shower.  To read more go to the Wired Science article  Leonid Meteor Shower Peaks Wednesday
