National Parks are Free November 11 for Veterans Day

Come visit one of  the almost 400 national parks on Veterans Day.  All national parks are waiving entrance fees on November 11, 2010 in recognition of current and former servicemen and women.  Many concessioners are joining the National Park Service in welcoming visitors with their own special offers.

For 2011 the National Park has scheduled the following dates as fee free days:

  • April 16-24, 2011
    (National Park Week)
  • September 24, 2011
    (Public Lands Day)
  • November 11, 2011
    (Veterans Day)

Additional days for 2011 will be announced at a later date.  Check back at: Free Entrance Days in the National Parks
