A Pleasant Surprise

As it was foggy, drizzling and windy, I decided to not go to one of the parks in the hills and instead decided to photograph my home garden.  We had just discovered, to our surprise, that we have a Leopard Lily Lilium pardalinum in bloom in our yard.  We remember buying it a long time ago, but had since forgotten it as it seemed to disappear and all of a sudden there it was in bloom mixed in with Sticky Monkey Flowers and Ceanothus in the back of the backyard. Here are a couple of photos of the Leopard lily along with a few others of the many flowers now in bloom.
