Feeling lazy about driving very far, I stayed closed and went back to the Regional Parks Botanic Garden (Berkeley, CA) in Tilden Park. A lot more bloom than last time I was here. Good numbers of Lupine, Poppies, Ceanothus and Mahonia. Still a few trillium in bloom. Several interesting plants in bloom in the bulb beds including Allum platycaulis, a yellow Calochortus, Lewesia rediviva, Purple Fairy Lantern (Calochortus amoenus).
