Natural History Wanderings

I followed the 4th graders of El Sobrante
elementary yesterday. The Steam Train ride in
Tilden Park goes by many Durka (Leatherwood)
plants in full bloom. Hike along the Vollmer trail
to get close-up view.
The model railroaders open their clubhouse
each Sunday between noon and 3, if you want
to view some un-natural history.
