Natural History Wanderings has now been up and running for a week. Response has been better than expected. Over 100 people have visited the blog. I have received quite a few encouraging e-mails and comments. A number of people have submitted posts of what they have seen in their wanderings in the field and about upcoming workshops. The “Wildflower Reports” and “Talks, Walks and Workshops” (a list of natural history organizations that offer hikes trips, talks, and classes) pages have both been updated with additional links to related websites. Submissions about what you have seen and where you have been are most welcome. To submit a post go to “Submitting Your Wanderings” above or click on “Submissions and Contributions” under Links in the right column.

Nice web site. You may want to consider adding the following web site for Nature in and around Kern County.
