Shasta Cascade Region Showing More Fall Color

California Fall Color just posted a new report for the Shasta Cascade Region. They report that the fall color is still increasing and starting to reach peak in a few areas.  Here is what they report in terms of percent color in each area.

  • 15-30%- Butte County
  • 0-15% – Whiskeytown National Recreation Area
  • 30-50%- Burney Falls State Park
  • 30-50%- Lassen Volcanic National Park
  • 50-75%- Bizz Johnson Trail
  • 30-50%- Mt. Shasta
  • 15-30%- Weaverville
  • 75-100% Plumas County-
  • 75-100% Modoc County
