Hi, Sandy. I was with a group that you led around Tilden this morning. Thanks for a very informative (and wet!) tour.
I looked up your stunning bee and flower photo (5/27) on NYT Games Spelling Bee.
Besides the “hints” link, there’s a link to “Community.” Every day, someone named “Sue” in Canada describes the photo. She appears to be a botanist/entomologist and maybe a poet. Anyway, if you go to Community for that day, you can read her text. She also thinks that the Western honeybee is visiting a nocturnal blooming cactus, but a different one: Echinopsis or Lobivia. What do you think?
Thanks,
Leonette Morrison
