On Tuesday, the Regional Parks Foundation was named Outstanding Non-Profit by the California Parks & Recreation Society-District 3. The Foundation was recognized in the innovation/new program development category, highlighting the Park District’s XPLORE – Parks to People virtual reality program, which is supported by Foundation grant funding.
