Photographing Mostly Scoliopus

We went looking for Fetid Adder’s Tongue or Slinkpod/Scoliopus bigelovii in Marin Redwood Forests yesterday. It is one of my favorite plants to photography. Here are some examples of why. I also included photos of Milkmaids/Cardamine californica and Warrior’s Plume/Pedicularis densiflora, two other early bloomers.
