Forest Service Closure Information To better provide public and firefighter safety due to the ongoing California wildfire crisis, the USDA Forest Service has temporarily closed the national forests in the Pacific Southwest Region from August 31, 2021 at 11:59pm through September 17, 2021 at 11:59pm. This closure affects the Inyo National Forest in Mono County.
