Natural History Wanderings

I returned to Abbotts Lagoon Monday. We arrived early and it was overcast the whole time we were there. It was good timing for seeing birds, rabbits and photographing wildflowers. We covered the trail and the sandy area that is just before the dunes. Weekday mornings it is quiet and there are only a few people on the trail. Keep a watch for Poison Oak.
