The Dorothy King Chapter  (coastal Mendocino County, the northern coastal area of Sonoma County, and nearby areas) of the California Native Plant Chapter announces

This year the annual native plant sales will be October 20 in Fort Bragg, at Town Hall, and on October 27 in Gualala, at the Community Center. This year it will be a celebration of gardening with native plants, with at least three talks or demonstrations on each day including how to assess your land and its potential for growing plants or restoration, how to propagate, and what to grow to attract pollinators. There will be a great selection of plants, and more specially chosen plants grown from local seeds or cuttings. The next Calypso (being put together right now) will have more details and then look for an announcement and mailing closer to the time.
