While the recession of Olcott Playa, and the accompanying bloom is active, the best viewing is in other pastures where access is only allowed when accompanied by docents or SLT staff. If you want to see the amazing spring bloom at Jepson Prairie make arrangements for one of the regularly scheduled weekend tours (10:00 – 12:00 AM) and join us on Saturdays and Sundays, while the bloom is ‘on’ .
