I just became aware of a new Colorado Fall Color resource. It is a Facebook page where people post reports and photos. It is

• Lake City is past peak for the most part. Trees around Slumgullion Pass were mostly bare, and Highway 149 between the Pass and Creede was barren at high elevation …… The best spot in the area was the Lake San Cristobal overlook which had okay color but wasn’t as good as from 2 years ago.

• Hwy 67 at the Y to Cripple Creek or Victor. 9/28/16. Still some nice colors. Pretty patches of bright orange here and there.
• Victor and Cripple Creek area 9-28-16. Lots of beautiful color. Some trees are past peak, some have color but look dry, some are still green and a lot are magnificent

• Looking good up in Cripple Creek today, 9/28!
