Point Reyes National Seashore Wildflowers 4/29/16

 

 Point Reyes National Seashore reports

The coastal headlands of Point Reyes National Seashore are enjoying a spectacular spring bloom this year! Tomales Point, the Estero Trail, and most impressively, the Chimney Rock Trail are bursting with color. Over fifty species of native wildflowers have been seen in bloom at Chimney Rock, where molting adult female elephant seals have also been observed on the beaches below.
