Where to photograph in California – Yahoo Groups  (cal photo) has a report on the Dogwoods in Yosemite Valley

 The dogwoods are in prime condition all along the Yosemite Valley loop road. Flowers are in great condition (mostly white) along the western side of the valley with many trees not yet in full bloom in the eastern side of the valley. Dense blooms are most photogenic along the western edge of Northside and Southside Drive. As always dogwoods are quiet plentiful around Pohono bridge. If you’re visiting the valley floor this weekend enjoy the full waterfalls and stunning dogwoods.
