Joshua Tree National Park just posted a new wildflower report for 3/10/16.
As of early March 2016, wildflowers are coming into bloom at low elevations and in the southern part of the park. At this time flowers remain scattered. We did not receive as much winter rain here as areas farther north in California, and we are not seeing a dramatic “superbloom” like the one currently underway in Death Valley National Park.
