The Solano Land Trust will be offering their “Wildflowers and Water Critters” walks at Jepson Prairie Preserve starting March 12 through May 8. These are free events (a donation is appreciated) held every Saturday and Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
The vernal pool and grassland prairie at Jepson is a unique ecosystem. Docents will talk about the unique flowering plants and aquatic invertebrates that can be found here.
