Flowers are blooming for miles on the road between Arvin and Caliente

Best place we’ve seen so far is the mile from outside Arvin traveling north. The locals we met confirmed this is the best area to see wildflower bloom right now. Wildflowers are impressive, but lacking in lupine. Tejon Ranch employees told us the bloom is early this season (early March) and will likely peak in next two weeks Snakes are out, and many officials warned us not to go into the fields for risk of being bitten.
