Oregon Wildflowers: Coyote Wall 2/27/16

Oregon Wildflowers has a new report for Coyote Wall in the Columbia River Gorge

The most prevalent wildflowers are Grass Widows (Olsynium douglasii), thousands of which carpet the hillside. Also profuse are Smooth Prairie Star (Lithophragma glabrum) and Salt-and-Pepper (Lomatium piperi).

Pungent Desert Parsley (Lomatium grayi) and Bigroot (Marah oreganus) are starting to bloom. Several patches of Gold Stars (Crocidium multicaule) were blooming at lower elevations.
