Superior National Forest Fall Color 10/26/15

Superior National Forest  reports

We are definitely past peak, but there are still enough leaves clinging to trees to make the woods lovely, and there are plenty of leaves on the ground to make for pleasant rustles when hiking and good smells in the air.  There are flocks of snow buntings as well, and snowy owls have been spotted in the area.
