Romantic Ashville reports

October 3, 2015 Update: Great news! We received much less rain than predicted, and the sun returns next week! The Blue Ridge Parkway is still closed for the storm, but will reopen soon (read more). Lots of great color this on our trips south and north on the Blue Ridge Parkway from Asheville. It's near peak color at Graveyard Fields (always the first place to peak), Craggy Gardens and Mt. Mitchell. Color is still running about a week early, but the turn is slowing down with recent rain and clouds. Peak color for the next week at highest elevations.
