Oregon Wildflowers has two new reports
Tryon Creek State Park 3/31/15 If you want to see the beautiful trilliums in this park, you should go NOW rather than waiting until the Trillium Festival mid-month. Our friendly park ranger reports that the trilliums are peaking right now.
Lacamas Park 4/1/15 The common camas generally arrive here at the beginning of May, but today we saw hundreds of them in bloom. Full bloom is still a week or so away but now is a good time to go. Other wildflowers that we saw blooming include: Avalanche lilies, Blue-eyed Mary, Trillium, Dogwoods, Rosy Plectritis, Miner’s lettuce, Snow Queen, Bleeding Heart, Salmonberry, Oaks Toothwort, Pioneer Violets, Oregon Iris, Wholeleaf Saxifrage, Woodland Strawberries, and False Hellebore.
