Romantic Asheville  has a fall color report for 10/27/2014

October 27, 2014 Update: This is the last week of fall color for most of the mountains. The best color now is in lower elevations and valleys. Peak color in the Lake Lure and Chimney Rock area will be later this week into early next week. While many sections of the Parkway are past peak, the views into the valleys are grand.
