Rocky Mt. Region Fall Color 10/8/14

Rocky Mt. Nature photographers has new report today

The aspens should be winding down about now but never fear! You still have maples, cottonwoods, willows, boxelders, and oaks in the canyons! So come down out of the mountains and hit the canyons.

I would imagine the east side of Zion is starting to look good with bigtooth maples about now. Another 2 weeks or so and the West Fork of Oak Creek, the Zion main canyon, and the canyons in the Guadalupe Mountains of TX will be full of color. 3 weeks and Zion Canyon and Canyon de Chelly should be peaking.
