Find progressing color in the highest elevations, especially in the Rough Ridge area near Grandfather Mountain, Graveyard Fields and Mt. Mitchell (see pics). Sunny and very cool weather this weekend with highs only in the 50s on Saturday (only in 40s in higher elevations)!
