Summer Talks At Native Here Nursery

A Sense of Place: Summer Talks at the Native Here Nursery Amphitheater

10:30 to 11:30 am (or later) at 101 Golf Course Drive in Tilden Regional Park, 94708 (across the street from the Golf Course parking lot)
Free (but a $10 donation would be appreciated)

The talks will be al fresco and free of slides at our lovely amphitheater at Native Here Nursery.

June 28 – Jim “Doc” Hale: Native American Ethnobiology and Ethnobotany: Useful, edible, and medicinal plants.
July 12 – Charli Danielsen: Fire and Water in the Summer Landscape: Tips to conserve water, conserve your plants, and protect your landscape. The elements of Wind and Earth will be left for another time.
July 26 – Bert Johnson: Manzanitas of the Bay Region.
August 9 – Native Plant Poetry, Hosted by Kirk Lumpkin. The poetry readings will begin with an ‘open mic’ period, followed by more planned submissions.
August 23 – Bart O’Brien: Native Plant Horticulture, with extensive Q&A to follow.
August 30 – Glenn Keator: Designing with Natives.
