New Mexico Wildflower Update: Chama 5/28/14

Desert wildflowers in New Mexico – DesertUSA has the follwingnew wildflower report:

Area around Chama, NM recieved some rain last night. Have found few blooms, high country still in patchy snow. Corn Lily just about 4″ high. Bloomfield and Angel Peak Scenic Area have some isolated areas of color. Rte 550 South from Bloomfield – Globe Mallow is adding its show! Angel Peak-Castle Rock Picnic Area was a surprising show! Mariposa Lily, Beardtongue, Paintbrush, and others if one looks. Wind was howling, sorry for blur in photo's
