Earlier this evening we went to see Western Bluebird boxes in South Berkeley with Rusty Scalf, Golden Gate Audubon Instructor and trip leader. He is responsible for getting Bluebird boxes put up in strategic locations in Berkeley with much success. The birds seemed to be waiting for us as Rusty brought them crickets and worms.
