Botany Photo Of The Day

Not to brag, BUT Botany Photo of the Day features a photo of a Yellow Larkspur and Anna’s Hummingbird by the author of Natural History Wanderings:  Delphinium luteum – Botany Photo of the Day.

Very nice, do not believe I have ever seen yellow larkspur, is it a garden plant or does it occur in the wild?Spencer

It occurs in the wild but is considered rare and endangered. There is a nice display in bloom or at least was a couple of weeks ago at the Regional Parks Botanic Garden in Berkeley ( California Native Plants only botanic garden)
