Bluebonnet Love has the following Texas wildflower and bluebonnet reports:
San Antonio 4/1/14 “It is located in a neighborhood park, so there is playground equipment and a pond (that still is suffering a bit from the drought).
Cedar Park 3/30/14 field next to Cedar Park High School at Cypress Creek and Dies Ranch Rd (near Anderson Mill Rd).”
Bulverde 3/28/14 Large patches of Bluebonnets are in full bloom along Blanco Road between Slumber Pass and W. Specht Rd. There are places to pull over on the side of the road, but I wouldn’t call it “kid friendly” because it is the roadside and traffic there is moderate with the speed limit being 55-60 mph. For those wanting only flower shots though, it’s perfect.
