WildflowerHaven reports for the Schulenberg, Flatonia, Columbus area

Headed south to Navasota on Highway 6. Saw scattered (nothing dense) Indian Paints along that corridor. Did not see any bluebonnets. Lots of tall winter grass. Cut west off Hwy.6 and headed on some back roads. Saw more Indian Paints scattered and finally saw a little patch of bluebonnets.. Came back through Caldwell, Rockdale, and west on Hwy 79 and again saw just a few Indian Paints with no bluebonnets.

We saw the small patch of blooming Bluebonnets under a board fence on a farm property about 5 miles south of College Station on Highway 2154 just north of a little community named Millican
