Gold Butte, Nevada Wildflowers 3/15/14

DesertUSA has the following report for  Gold Butte area in southeast Nevada for Saturday, March 15.:

saw a number of new flowers (in addition to those I saw last week; many more desert marigolds this week). The images begin at the lowest elevation (the beginning of the Gold Butte road) to the highest elevation (on the branch from Whitney Pockets towards Arizona). These include Evening Primrose, Cooper’s Golden Bush (I think), Beavertail cactus (on a south facing-slope), Brittlebush, Desert Dandelion, Prickly Pear, and Desert Almond (found purely by accident). So far not as prolific as past years but still pretty good.
