Calphoto has the following new wildflower report:
The slope above the river upstream from the covered bridge at Knight’s Ferry (west of Oakdale off of 120) is showing a nice display of poppies and bush lupine. I spent about three hours there this morning, photographing up and down the main area; it’s not all that big, but looks quite colorful right now. An example can be found here: http://bit.ly/1g1PmTz
