Joshua Tree National Park has posted a new wildflower report of for 3/14/14. They report:
Watch the Lower Covington Flats area of the park for a variety of blooms just starting to show their colors. Look for the yellow flowers of the desert fiddleneck (Amsinckia tessellata var. tessellata), desert dandelion (Malacothrix glabrata), as well as the white flowers of Steve’s pincushion and white daisy tidytips (Layia glandulosa).
