DesertUSA has the following new wildflower bloom reports for Arizona
Catalina State Park in Tucson, AZ. – 66 species of wildflowers are in bloom in the park. Mariposa Lilies were observed March 11 on the Canyon Loop Trail above the steps. Silverpuffs have seed heads. Ocotillo and Brownfoot are just beginning to bloom. Hillsides of Brittlebush, Cream Cups, Wooly Daisies, and Poppies are in bloom, but not as lush as 2012.

NW of Phoenix, Surprise, AZ – the new 303 Expressway on north Grand Avenue just west of Sun City West. Turn from Grand Ave. onto the the highway 303 entry and park on left side of road, lots of parking area. Lots of flowers along roads now, including route 60 to Wickenburg.
