BBC has a story how a plan to increase eco-tourism might be the way to save the endangered lemurs of Madagascar. Lemurs are the world’s most threatened primate . There are over 100 species and are only found in Madagascar. Most species populations are very low due to habitat loss from illegal logging. The challenge to implementing the ecotourism plan is to raise 7.6 million dollars.
