Flower Photos From My Garden

Douglas Iris

Douglas Iris

The first Douglas Iris bloom of the year. Every year the Douglas Iris bloom is different. One year it started as early as October. Some years the bloom has lasted as long as six months (with some help by removing the spent flowers). This year was more normal as the first bloom appeared on March 2.

Trillium choloropetalum

Trillium choloropetalum

We bought this trillium and at first were disappointed that the flowers were green and not red or white but it is a great looking plant and the disappointment is long gone.
