Backyard Bird Count Results

We had our annual backyard bird count breakfast and count today.We set a record with 21 birds identified in our yard and a quarter-mile radius around our house in the North Berkeley flatlands. We also saw three gulls that we were unable to ID and heard one woodpecker drilling that we were unable to ID. We had a great breakfast of homemade cheese blintzes, wholewheat-banana muffins, Pistachio-Cherry refrigerator cookies, and fruit salad.
