Anza-Borrego Wildflower Report – Bisnaga Wash 2/14/14

Borregohiking.com  has a new wildflower hike posted for Bisnaga Wash. Blooming right now:
  • Cheesebush in two colors.
  • Chuparosa is very good in this wash, in colors red, orange and yellow.
  • The Barrel and Fish-hook Cactus are starting to bloom.
  • Looks like this is going to be a good year for cacti.
  • We found a yellow Chuparosa that’s a rare find. Thanks Robert for telling us they exist in the park.
  • And finally after years of searching we found a blooming Newberry’s velvet mallow.
  • Watch out for Jumping Cholla, so be prepared.
