Western Isles’ Rare Bird Visitors

The BBC  has a photo essay of birds that are rare visitors to the Western Isles since late November. The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds reports that there has been an”incredible run of spectacular birds” including Ivory Gull, Blackcap, Pied-billed Grebe, Glossy Ibis, Snow Owl, Gyr Falcon, American Robin and Lesser Scaup.
