Bird Watching At Feeders

Cornell Lab of Ornithology’s Project FeederWatch has two new sites for watching birds at feeders. They have set up live cams for viewing and an on-line food and feeder preference tool.

They have two new live-streaming Bird Cams set up at feeders in Manitouwadge, Ontario, and outside their Visitor Center in Ithaca, New York. Winter birds already on display in Canada, include Evening Grosbeaks, Purple Finches, and Gray Jays. There are goldfinches, woodpeckers, and the last of the fall colors in Ithaca. To see the Cams go to Bird Feeder Cams.

They also have a Common Feeder Birds tool to help you find out which birds to expect at feeders in your area, what types of feeders they like, and what foods they like.
