The Rocky Mt. Nature Photographer’s Fall Foliage Reports had two updates for Moab area and Zion National Park

Zion color is 7-9 days AHEAD of schedule. In the main canyon anyways. He said cottonwoods are past peak and maples are mostly bare. Those of us going the “normal” time might be too late.

Moab. On the way back down I-15 I did not notice any appreciable color around Kanarravile or Kolob Canyon main entrance. I did see some spotty color as I dropped down from the higher country into the Toquerreville area.
