Asheville NC Fall Foliage Color Leaf Report 2013  has a new fall color report for October 12, 2013.

Mountains are still mostly green, and the color transition is a little slow since we haven\’t had many cold nights yet. This week, find the best color above 4,000 feet elevation. We recently found the best color at Mt. Mitchell State Park (fully open) and that section of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Another area for color is Rough Ridge on the Parkway near Grandfather Mountain.
