Possible New Owl Species

Ornithologists  in Oman believe they have discovered a new species of owl. While trying to record an Arabian Owl, a wildlife sound-recordist heard a different sounding owl. After several additional trips the new species was photographed. It is believed to be a new species in the Strix genus and was found in a remote mountainous region.
