Inyo National Forest  just posted the following article on where to see fall Color in Inyo National Forest in the Eastern Sierra. It includes locations and driving directions. Site is now being updated frequently so check often.

Inyo National Forest is a landscape of grand peaks and picturesque lakes. As summer ends the gold and red hues of autumn grace the mountainsides.  For the autumn leaf hunter, many spectacular views can be easily accessed from Highway 395, or campgrounds and trailheads. Venture into the vast backcountry and discover tucked away groves of changing color.

Mono Lake Ranger District ROAD DRIVING DIRECTIONS FALL COLORS
Lundy Canyon Leave Hwy 395 approx. 7 miles North of Lee Vining. Turn West on Lundy Canyon Road.
Tioga Road Hwy 120 South of Lee Vining, Hwy 120 goes west to Yosemite or east to Benton and Hwy 6.  New photos on facebook VisitEasternSierra
June Lake Loop Leave Hwy 395 at June Lake or north of Grant Lake.
Mammoth Lakes Ranger District ROAD DRIVING DIRECTIONS FALL COLORS
Reds Meadow Road Leave Hwy 395 at Hwy 203 to the town of Mammoth Lakes. Turn right on Minaret Road. 9/17/2013 Aspen are beginning to trun gold along the High Trail. Willows are starting to change.
Mammoth Lakes Scenic Loop Leave Hwy 395 at Hwy 203 to the town of Mammoth Lakes. Turn right on Minaret Road, then right on Mammoth Scenic Loop Road.
Benton Crossing Road From Hwy 395 south of Mammoth, turn east onto Benton Crossing Road.
Lake Mary Road Leave Hwy 395 at Hwy 203 to the town of Mammoth Lakes. Continue on Lake Mary Road.
Convict Lake Road Leave Hwy 395 just south of the Mammoth Airport and follow Convict Lake Rd.
